Jasspur

“Jasspur” represents a musical shift from their previous and first release. It’s about finding a conscious awareness at times were a lot of us struggle with mental health, we can choose to believe we have great strength as humans, and we will overcome the global challenge set upon us.

Telmo Terremoto and Inêsh Silva, co-founders of the group, finished writing “Jasspur” last spring 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic. Originally the song lied on a jazz open structure, as they played it live mainly relying on improvisation with a few different band formations.

Their planned studio recordings with the musicians and release were suspended so they had to logistically change to remote recording.
“Jasspur” is the first product from Peagypt representing this new reality for musicians.
